Perforation is a process creating holes in casing (or liner) to connect the reservoir with the well-bore and allow hydrocarbons to flow into the well. Perforating guns with charges are used to punch holes in well casing. In the open-hole environment, guns are lowered into the well using electric-line (E-line) or tubing. Guns are run to the desired depth, after which a perforation job starts. A number of different gun systems are available for selection, depending on subsurface and perforation requirements.

On May 28, 2019, VIGOR project engineers went to Changqing Oilfield to visit and study perforating operations and other oilfield conditions. The main task of this study is to be familiar with the perforating operation process on the oilfield site, from the assembly of the perforating gun to the final completion of the perforating operation and the technical details.

In the early morning of November 10, 2019, the 2019 ADIPEC International Oil Exhibition officially opened in Abu Dhabi. As one of the earliest oil tool exporters in China, Vigor’s marketing department, technology department, project department, and other colleagues went to Abu Dhabi to participate in the oil exhibition.

Recenly, VIGOR’s Ultron Composite Frac Plugs were successfully used in several Horizontal Wells in the North-west Base of CNPC, Fu County, China.
