Vigor Hydro-Mech Set Bridge Plug (VHMB) is a downhole tool that combines hydraulic drive and mechanical setting. It is mainly used for temporary and permanent plugging of oil, gas and water layers.

Vigor Hydro-Mech Set Bridge Plug (VHMB) can be used in production wells for channeling, water plugging, fracturing, acidizing and other construction. Its core feature is that it does not rely on external mechanical or cable-type setting tools, and can be set through a built-in mechanism, which is both efficient and economical.

Description

Hydro-Mech Set Bridge Plug (VHMB)is hydraulically actuated, mechanically set, compact, small O.D., high pressure and designed for easy drill out. It can be used in zone isolation for squeeze cementing, fracturing, and plug and abandonment either temporary or permanent.

The setting mechanism and control are contained in the Bridge Plug eliminating the need for a complex mechanical setting tool.

Full tubing bore is available for unobstructed passage of fluids and wireline run perforating and logging equipment after the plug is set and tubing released.

Features

· No setting tool required – just throw the ball, press it down and then lift the seat. Eliminating the need of added cost for rental setting tools. Excellent for deviated wells

· Can be released by right hand rotation in an emergency

· Increased temperature ratings – capable of sustaining high temperature and corrosive environments with optional elastomer systems (up to 400°F)

· Unique elastomer and backup system – prevents costly and time consuming remedial operations by increasing pressure capabilities up to 10,000 psi (70Mpa)

· Reliable sealing --- One piece packing element and rocker action metal back up rings combine for a superior seal

· Drillable cleanout BHA compatible – Brushes and Scrapers can be easily installed using a universal threaded adapter
