    Description

    Vigor team developed a full composite material high-performance bridge plug.The Ultron™ Composite Bridge Plug's resistance to high pressure and high temperature underground environment, easy drilling, and complete return of drilling cuttings to the wellhead.
    The Ultron™ Composite Bridge Plug (High Temperature And High Pressure Type) uses high-strength and low-density composite resin materials, designs a unique bridge plug sealing mechanism and anti-burst device, and conducts systematic indoor material performance experiments and bridge plug overall performance tests. It can withstand a pressure difference of 105MPa and a temperature of 120℃.
    Through multiple field applications, the practical performance of the bridge plug has been verified and can meet the requirements of field construction. At the same time, field applications show that the bridge plug has good drilling performance, which can greatly improve field construction efficiency and save construction costs.

    1.Lightweight Design, Efficient Operation

    Weight advantage: The density of composite materials is much lower than that of metals (such as steel), and the friction resistance is small when lowered into the wellbore, which is especially suitable for complex well conditions such as horizontal wells and large-reach wells.
    Convenient operation: The lightweight structure reduces the risk of tool jamming, increases the lowering speed, and reduces the operation time.
    2. High Strength, Corrosion Resistance

    Mechanical properties: The reinforced composite material has high compressive strength (up to 105 MPa or more) and can withstand high-pressure fracturing environments.
    Chemical corrosion resistance: It has strong tolerance to acidic (H₂S, CO₂) and highly mineralized formation fluids, avoiding sealing failure of metal bridge plugs due to corrosion.

    3.Full Bore Completion, Low Reservoir Damage

    Easy to drill out: Compared with metal bridge plugs, composite materials have lower hardness and higher brittleness, are more efficient when drilled out (saving 30%~50% of the time of drilling plugs), and have less debris.
    Protecting the reservoir: The drilling process causes less damage to the wellbore, reduces secondary damage to the reservoir, and ensures later production capacity.
