Vigor Logging Flexible Sub adopts a multi-joint design fabricated through monolithic hollow-core machining, featuring high structural strength, instrument simplicity, and ease of maintenance. Simultaneously, the multi-joint design enhances the instrument's flexibility, offering a wide bend angle range.
When used in conjunction with logging tools, Vigor Logging Flexible Sub helps improve the passing capability of the tool string in highly deviated and horizontal wells at kickoff points, preventing operational difficulties or even jamming of the tool string in the wellbore.

Description

Vigor Logging Flexible Sub is an auxiliary supporting product for logging tools. Integrated into the tool string, it enables a free bending capability of 0 to 15 degrees, ensuring that the tool string maintains consistency with the wellbore trajectory during logging in deviated and horizontal wells.

This structure has the following three functions: ensuring smooth movement of toolstring, passing through the casing bend, reducer or extender; reducing the lineal rigidity of toolstring; and decreasing the centralizing requirement.

Features

Vigor Logging Flexible Sub features a short connection length. When connected within the tool string, it enhances the flexibility of the string, reduces its maximum straight length, and facilitates passage through casing joints or kickoff points in highly deviated or horizontal wells.

APPLICATIONS

• Maximum linear length of the toolstring can be decreased, which helps toolstring go through the casing joint connector or operate in highly-deviated wells or horizontal wells.
