Vigor Electrical Tubing-Casing Punching Tool (VEPT)

Vigor Electrical Tubing-Casing Punching Tool (VEPT) is a specialized tool for tubing/casing punching from the inside, capable of punching at any position except the coupling.

After RIH to the target position, operate it through the surface control panel, then the casing/tubing wall is cut from the inside by mechanical means, thereby separating the upper and lower parts of the it. Additionally, the tool is equipped with a safety system that automatically retrieves the instrument in the event of a power failure.

Vigor Electrical Tubing-Casing Punching Tool (VEPT) mainly consists of 2 parts: Surface Control Box and Downhole Punching Tool String.

The Downhole Punching String is mainly consisted of Cable Head, Centralizer, CCL, Hydraulic Power Unit, Hydraulic Power Control Unit, Electric Downhole Anchor, and Puncher Unit

· Automatic Safety System automatically retracts in the event of a power failure

· Smooth cutting surface, with no burrs or flashes. The produced fine iron particles have little influence on subsequent operations.

· Using two sets of hydraulic support arms for anchoring, ensuring the entire tool string is tightly hold on the pipe.

· Portable ground system allows for real-time monitoring on tool status and provides multiple curves to assess the cutting state.

· Easy drill bit replacement, which can be completed in about 10 minutes.
